SEATTLE _ The Milwaukee Bucks pulled the trigger on a blockbuster trade with the Seattle SuperSonics on Thursday, even though they received no assurance, or even a hint, from all-star free-agent-to-be guard Gary Payton that he would re-sign with the Bucks after this season.
The Bucks acquired Payton along with guard-forward Desmond Mason for guards Ray Allen, Kevin Ollie and Ronald Murray, and a conditional 2003 draft pick.
