BEARING PLANT TO LOCATE IN RANDOLPH COUNTY
RALEIGH, N.C., Jan. 24 /PRNewswire/ -- The Timken Company (NYSE: TKR), an international manufacturer of highly engineered bearings and alloy steels, plans to build a $90 million facility near Asheboro, announced Senator James T. Broyhill, Secretary of the North Carolina Department of Economic and Community Development. Initial employment will be approximately 60 new jobs, with long-term plans in excess of 300 employees.
