Energy Ministry affiliate Iran Water & Power Resources Development Company (IWPC) has invited companies to prequalify by 30 January for the mechanical and electrical works package on the Siah-Bisheh hydropower project. The local Mosanir Power Engineering Consultants is the consultant on the scheme (MEED 4:10:02).
Local and international contractors are eligible to bid for the contract, which covers the supply and installation of four 250-MW generator units and detailed design and construction of underground waterways, vertical shafts, surge tanks, powerhouses and transformer caverns.
