Introduction
For many years the vegetable oil industry and other related politically-biased agricultural groups have been telling us that saturated fats are unhealthy. In fact, it is a common belief that saturated fats are the "bad" fats and unsaturated fats are the "good" fats. Although blanket statements like the previous one are misleading, it now appears that it may be more correct, although still misleading, to say that saturated fats are the "good" fats and unsaturated fats are the "bad" fats.
