IOWA CITY, IOWA -- I have a small confession to make.
I thought Mike Wilkinson was the MVP of the University of Wisconsin men's basketball team before he shot down Iowa Saturday.
Now, he's a lock.
Wilkinson joined Brian Good as the top Iowa killers in recent UW lore Saturday, nailing three straight 3-point shots in a critical stage of the second half as the Badgers pulled away for a 61-53 victory over the Hawkeyes.
Back in 1991, it was Good who sent the Carver-Hawkeye faithful grumbling toward the exits with a buzzer-beating 3-pointer that gave UW a 56-55 victory. Wilkinson's 13-point second half wasn't as dramatic as that, but it was ...
