Warren Lammert has overseen the $US4.7 billion Janus Mercury Fund since 1993. He is stepping down as manager of the US capital fund. Lammert's successor is David Corkins, who is known for his emphasis on risk management. Janus Mercury has lost an average of 29.5 per cent per year for the past three years, due to its technology and telecommunications holdings. Lammert tended to focus on fast-growing companies.
