You might not know the name Eartha right now, but you will certainly learn it this week during the Grammy Awards ceremony on Feb. 23.
Eartha is an L.A.-based contemporary gospel artist who is nominated for an R&B Grammy along with such superstars as Ashanti, Aaliyah, Mary J. Blige and Jill Scott.
Amazingly, Eartha's album, Sidebars, had only sold 52 copies (you read right--52 copies) at press time, according to SoundScan, which tracks record sales, USA Today reported. However, her Beverly Hills-based independent record label, AFRT Music, reports the album has sold 10,000 copies at her concerts at churches, clubs and other outlets.
