SYDNEY, Feb 26 Asia Pulse - News Corp (ASX:NCP) and Liberty Media have reportedly dumped plans of a joint bid for General Motors Corp's 30 per cent stake in Hughes Electronics.

Both News Corp and Liberty were now looking into independent offers, with both companies commencing due diligence on Hughes, overseas news wires said today.
