Columbia ParCar Corporation, a Wisconsin-based manufacturer of gasoline- and electric-powered utility, industrial, commercial and passenger vehicles, recently announced it has expanded the vehicle production capacity of its operations in Reedsburg, WI, by installing new manufacturing systems.
The company said the expansion includes the acquisition of "capital equipment that utilizes the latest laser technology, the implementation of new quality assurance processes [and] the introduction of updated inventory control systems." Additionally, Columbia ParCar said the project increased its use of robotic welding and assembly methods.
