NEW YORK, Jan. 29 /PRNewswire/ -- Corporate earnings, already weakened by the recession, are being further eroded by seemingly uncontrollable health care benefit expenses.

A nationwide survey released today reports that health benefit costs now consume more than one of every four dollars (26 percent) of an employer's net earnings.
