Nicotinic acid is a vitamin substance in the B category. It is used extensively in the feed, pharmaceutical and food additive sectors. A small amount is also used in dyestuffs, daily-use chemicals and glazing additives. It is a fine chemical with good development prospects.

Due to the differences in the variety, growth period, raising method and raising condition of animals and the differences in the content of nicotinic acid in natural feed, requirements with regard to the addition amount of nicotinic acid vary.
