BURBANK - A new advisory group will soon haggle over whether the Los Angeles Equestrian Center should hold such events as concerts, dirt bike races and fairs.
The Los Angeles Equestrian Center Advisory Board will coach the Los Angeles Recreation and Parks Board of Commissioners on staging nonequestrian events once strongly opposed by the center's neighbors.
The eight-member board, yet to be filled, will include two representatives each from Burbank, Glendale, Los Angeles and the Equestrian Center. The Burbank City Council selected two advisory board members and two alternates Tuesday.
