HIGH POINT, N.C.-New vendors, new products, an exotic venue -- and a sold-out exhibitor area -- all promise to make the upcoming Futon & Specialty Sleep Expo, March 2 to 4 in Las Vegas, one of the most exciting yet.
The expo, with 100 exhibitors occupying 100,000 square feet, will showcase products for futon and specialty bedding retailers, including waterbeds, foam beds and airbeds. Specialty bedding accounts for about 12 percent of the total bedding market, and its share is growing. Its rise in popularity has not escaped the attention of the predominant innerspring mattress segment -- or retailers wanting to offer more choices.
