PROJECT OVERVIEW:
An international consortium, operating under the name of AJMAN SEWERAGE PRIVATE CO. LTD., was recently awarded a construction contract to build a new wastewater plant in the Emirates. The partners in the planned undertaking and their respective shareholdings include THAMES WATER AQUA INTERNATIONAL of the UK (60%), the local SIX CONSTRUCT (10%) and BLACK & VEATH (B&V) of the U.S. (10%).
In so doing, B&W will act as the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contractor. On the other hand, SIX CONSTRUCT will undertake the civil engineering works. And, THAMES WATER will be the operations and maintenance (O&M) contractor for the ...
