Janice A. Spies of Wheaton for 37 years
Funeral services for Janice A. Spies, 64, will begin at 9:30 a.m. Monday, at Williams-Kampp Funeral Home, 430 E. Roosevelt Road, Wheaton, and proceed to St. Mark Church, Wheaton, where a Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Born Dec. 30, 1938, in Akron, Ohio, she died Thursday, Feb. 27, 2003, at her home. Interment will be in Assumption Cemetery, Winfield. Janice was raised in Chicago, where she attended high school. Afterwards, she went on to receive her master's degree in herbology. Later, she obtained two patents from the U.S. Office of Patents: one patent was a cure for arthritis in animals and the second, a cure for hip displasia ...
