When Sheila Beckert lost her job due to company downsizing, she didn't know what to do with her life.
At age 47, she had already worked in the quality control field for more than 20 years and had earned an associate's degree in animal husbandry from SUNY Morrisville. However, neither was what she wanted to do anymore to make a living.
So Beckert, of South New Berlin, searched her soul and made a decision from the heart - to pursue a career she enjoyed.
She enrolled in the massage therapy program at SUNY Morrisville.
