Mar. 5--SOUTH BEND, Ind.--Initial designs submitted this week to area planners confirm the company purchasing Scottsdale Mall will tear it down.
But a shopping experience completely unique in Michiana will be replacing the 30-year-old shopping center if the developer completes the acquisition in the next few months.
The retail complex called Erskine Village is expected to contain 500,000 square feet of stores and restaurants in varying sizes across the 58-acre property. The mall now contains 800,000 square feet and several restaurant outlets on Ireland Road ...
