FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 5, 2003
South Stevedoring Inc. and Port Everglades officials today announced that a major containerized cargo service serving South America and the east coast of the United States will begin operations at the South Stevedoring terminal in Port Everglades on March 14.
"This service nearly doubles the current annual volume of cargo through our terminal," said South Stevedoring President Stephen C. Harrington. "This is a tremendous boost in our efforts to establish the South Stevedoring terminal in Port Everglades as a premiere cargo destination."
