Mar. 5--Collin County motorists soon will see work begin on a major artery widening on State Highway 121, but state transportation engineers believe commuters shouldn't feel too much pain during the two-year procedure.
Construction work begins this week on a $46.5 million project to build three-lane frontage roads in both directions between Custer Road and Central Expressway, said Bill Lovil, the Collin County area engineer for the Texas Department of Transportation.
The construction crew's field office went up Monday, and workers will start turning dirt soon. ...
