After the big nor'easter a couple of weeks ago, artist Terre Ittner called me.
"You won't believe what the ocean has coughed up," she said.
And she was right. I don't believe I had ever seen anything like it in my life. The beach was littered with trash. Up and down the shoreline for as far as I could see, was mounds of junk. You could almost have furnished a house or filled a clothes closet with the odds and ends the sea had tossed on the sand. There were blankets, shower curtains, cushions, shoes, shirts, hats and so forth.
It made me wonder, who's been keeping house down there? Where in the world could it ...
