TIJUANA, Mexico _ A year after Ramon Arellano Felix's reign as Mexico's most violent drug boss ended in a spray of bullets, authorities suspect his organization is taking a more businesslike approach to drug trafficking, leaving the loudest shootouts here to corrupt police and smaller drug gangs.
At least a dozen recent murders _ including the shootings of some police officials _ have been attributed to drug dealing in and around this border city long tattooed with the brand as Mexico's trafficking capital.
