Mar. 6--HAMILTON, Ga.--A metro Atlanta businessman is plotting his next move now that officials in rural Harris County have rejected his plan for a $250 million children's home and entertainment complex.
Donald Whitney of Smyrna could file suit or wait at least six months to redraw plans for the World Children's Center near Callaway Gardens.
In a 3-2 vote at 2 a.m. Wednesday, the Harris County Commission denied his latest plan. It included an 8,000-seat concert venue near houses for 500 abused, neglected and orphaned children.
