Polish flag air carrier LOT eyes 7% growth in passenger numbers in 2003

Polish flag air carrier LOT aims to grow the number of passengers carried by 7% in 2003 even as it sees just a 3.3% increase in the number of flights, the company said Wednesday.

Such an increase in passenger numbers would allow the company, which is in the process of joining the Star global air alliance, to make a profit on carrier activities.
