Polish shipyard industry to see expected consolidation by end-2004
Warsaw. March 5. INTERFAX-EUROPE - The Polish shipyard industry is expected to be consolidated by the end of 2004 in a government-designed restructuring program targeted at restoring the industry to health, the president of Poland's state-run Industrial Development Agency (ARP) told a Tuesday press conference.
"We forecast that the first phase of the program, stabilization, will be technically completed by the end of the year, whereas realization of the entire program will take place by the end of 2004," ARP president Arkadiusz Krezel told reporters.
