Mar. 6--NORTH PORT, Fla.--Walking through the door of Classic Barber Shop II, one could almost expect to see customers wearing Levis jeans and white T-shirts, dirty high-tops and white socks, or jet-black pegged pants, moccasins and letterman's jackets.
"My wife and I planned this decor 10 years ago," said owner Chuck Hendricks, as pictures of James Dean and Marilyn Monroe looked over his shoulder and down onto the head of his customer. "We said one day we were going to build a '50s kind of shop, but we didn't know if it was going to be a beauty or a barber shop."
