A development group is proposing to build an upscale 120-lot subdivision on one of the larger vacant residentially zoned parcels in Eugene.
GJS Land Co. LLC is in preliminary talks with city officials to develop the subdivision on 38.5 acres at the southwest corner of Crescent Avenue and Game Farm Road.
Meanwhile, in a related development, the Eugene City Council last week agreed that the city should extend nearby Chad Drive to Game Farm Road, a move that will open up a new route for traffic between Eugene and Springfield. Chad is currently a dead end.
