Mar. 8--GARNER, N.C. -- Another piece of the development puzzle has fallen into place at White Oak Crossing.
St. Louis-based Drury Hotels said it wants to build a hotel off Interstate 40 near U.S. 70 within the next few years, rounding out what will become quite a concentration of commercial real estate, including shops, offices and apartments, at the crossroads.
Drury Hotels spent $4.3 million for 10 acres, which will be used for the hotel and up to four restaurants. It would be Drury's first location in the market; the closest Drury hotel is in Greensboro.
