SOUTH KINGSTOWN, R.I. _ Court records from Christine King's lawsuit against the University of Rhode Island detail not only sexual-harassment charges but a long list of alleged NCAA violations she said she witnessed while Jim Harrick Sr. was basketball coach.
URI is investigating the charges, and looking to hire "a consultant who specializes in NCAA investigations" to help with the probe, said university spokeswoman Linda Acciardo.
Among King's allegations are that Harrick changed some players' grades; arranged for players' term papers to be written by other students; arranged for players to receive cars, ...
