Mar. 7--BUTTE, Mont.--Silver Bow Chief Executive Judy Jacobson on Thursday threw her support for Destination: Montana, the proposed $1.8 billion project that melds gambling, entertainment and recreation in Butte.
"My top priority as chief executive is to bring economic development and job growth to our community," said Jacobson as she addressed about 100 people in the courthouse rotunda.
She said that the town has faced numerous blows in the past few years, including the uncertainty surrounding Touch America and the closure of Butte's last mine.
