As part of a shakeup of Citigroup's transactions services operations, Sandy Jaffee, head of Citigroup Global Securities Services (GSS) for the past eight years, will be transferred to a new sales role within the bank's Global Transaction Services (GTS) unit.
Citigroup is turning its GSS unit into a product line and combining it with cash management, treasury and trade services under the umbrella of GTS.
GSS will now be known as securities services and fall under the direction of Steve Bernstein, according to an internal GTS memo obtained by Securities Industry News last week.
