Mar. 8--LADY LAKE, Fla. -- More than 24,000 vehicles zoom through The Villages every day along U.S. Highway 27-441.
The crowded, four-lane roadway is among the busiest in the state. And traffic is growing every year as the area continues to develop.
Now a group of residents in The Villages wants to add another type of vehicle to the bumper-to-bumper grind: a faster, modified version of golf carts called low-speed vehicles.
