The following is a collection of opinions of traders at the Winnipeg Commodity Exchange and Canadian grain industry representatives.
Open interest in the November canola contract at the Winnipeg Commodity Exchange has steadily been climbing and there are ideas the numbers will continue to climb in the future.
As of March 10, open interest in Nov canola totalled 19,174 and is still far from being even remotely close to a record. The current open interest record in the November future was established July 13, 2001 when 62,403 contracts were open. The previous record to that was ...
