Mar. 11--FISHERS, Ind.--A request to allow a liquor store at 96th Street and Mollenkopf Road is drawing heat from Geist-area residents who want the town to stand by a 13-year-old commitment barring such land use.
The petition by Integrity Development Partners goes before the Fishers Plan Commission for a public hearing tonight. Joining the request is Windermere Partners, the original developers who committed to the 1990 plan that prohibits a liquor store at the site.
