Mar. 12--Whiskey Springs Resort, a proposed golf course community in Kerrville, appears poised to get City Council blessing this month.
The fourth-month-old development proposal is a revamped version of a three-year effort originally called Las Lomas. If plans are fully realized, it will be the most obvious land development in Kerrville to passersby on Interstate 10.
That's because it sits at the I-10 and Texas Highway 16 intersection. Considered the gateway to Kerrville, the intersection is 13/4 miles from downtown.
