Dominance by Guinness and Murphy's would suggest stout is an exclusively Irish brew, but this Scottish product is testament to a lengthy brewing heritage.

I like real ales and speciality beers produced by microbreweries rather than the brewing giants, and the product looks good at first glance. It's got an eye-grabbing gold thistle logo and I like the name.
