MICROBIOLOGISTS at Cardiff University have found that a spoonful of honey packs more punch against bacteria than many antibiotics.
In fact, it can even kill off the notorious MRSA superbug which is resistant to antibiotics and plagues many hospitals. Honey can also attack bacteria inside the body such as heliobacter pylori - the resistant bacteria that cause stomach ulcers.
