TABASCO'S NEW SAUCE IS SMOKIN'
Mr. Tidbit isn't usually particularly enthusiastic when a product that already comes in several flavors announces that it has a new flavor.
But he doesn't feel that way about Tabasco sauce.
The McIlhenny company, which produces Tabasco sauce, made only one kind for 127 years. That kind was very good, and it was a surprise to Mr. Tidbit in 1995 when McIlhenny began to offer a milder version - green Tabasco jalapeno sauce. Since then, we got two more flavors - extra-hot Tabasco habanero sauce and regular red Tabasco sauce with garlic added.
