As dramatic and high-profile as the aggravated murder trial of Christian Michael Longo may be, it's not likely to become a stage for theatrics by any of the lawyers involved.
Those who know Lincoln County Circuit Judge Robert Huckleberry say he is a strong judge who will keep the trial, which starts today, focused on evidence and not allow lawyers to pursue wild theories or to produce sideshows for the news media. To ensure this, Huckleberry has banned lawyers from talking to the media about the case during the trial.
Not that he really had to.
