More than 1,400 registrants attended the 2002 Annual Scientific Meeting of the SCC, held December 5-6 at the New York Hilton. Posters, presentations, luncheons, and the Maison G. deNavarre Award Dinner Dance were highlights of the evening.

The Robert A. Kramer Lifetime Service Award went to Virginia Shen, and Dr. Peter Elias received the Maison G. deNavarre Award. Other awards included the Frontiers of Science, to Dr. Thomas Kupper, who lectured on T Cells and the Human Immune Response.
