At last December's conference sponsored by the Newsletter & Electronic Publishers Association, Jay Schwedelson, corporate vice president of Worldata and WebConnect, provided the following tips for writing e-mail marketing subject lines.
Some of his advice stems from words and punctuation that inspire either filters or people to automatically eliminate. Others are geared towards getting your prospects to open the message.
