THE prospect of war in Iraq is the news that dominate the world today. Iraq is known in the modern world as one of the flourishing centers of Islamic art and culture.
It is also a place of religious pilgrimage of our Muslim brothers. But unknown to many, Iraq has a rich cultural heritage. Simply because the land area now known as modern Iraq is identified with Mesopotamia, the land between the two rivers Tigris and Euphrates mentioned in the Holy Bible.
