Hospitality giant Marriott International is aiming to boost its 18 million-strong member database and enhance loyalty through its reward scheme, following its decision to join forces with Tesco Clubcard.
Marriott Rewards, which involves 2,300 hotels worldwide, is developing redemption channels for its most loyal customers by offering two Tesco Clubcard points for every [pounds sterling]1 spent in any of its hotels.
Some 13 million active UK resident Clubcard members will also be invited to join Marriott Rewards, at www.marriottrewards.com, where the club has grown by 24 per cent over the past year.
