COMPANY
This data bank contains all actively traded stocks in the Russell 3000 index. The index is made up of the 3,000 largest public firms incorporated in the U.S., based on stock market capitalization. Their median market cap is $700 million, ranging from a high of $310 billion to a low of $128 million. Collectively, they make up 98% of the U.S. stock market. Note that companies legally domiciled abroad, such as Tyco International, aren't in the index.

Prices are to August 28, 2002, and are rounded to the nearest dollar.
