PRINCE William has the overwhelming support of the people of North Wales, who believe making him the next Prince of Wales could boost the region's feel-goodfactor.

In a Daily Post survey he was backed by 80pc of people to become the next Prince of Wales.

And more than half of those quizzed said Prince Charles should stand down to allow Prince William to take on the role, although only one in seven thought it should be done immediately.

Nia Roberts, 25,of Denbigh, said: ``I would rather see William as Prince of Wales - he is a young lad and has a lot going for him and would do a lot more for Wales than Charles ...
