When Egyptian King Tutankahamen's tomb was discovered in 1922, the world became enthralled with the numerous splendors of Egyptian culture, including design, architecture, and fashion. Tut's tomb was filled with the king's fantastic art and treasures, which inspired themes for jewelry, clothing and decor in the 1920's and 30's.
