First Medical Resource Book on Aeromedical Evacuation
William Hurd, M.D., is professor and chair of obstetrics and gynecology at Wright State University School of Medicine, Dayton, Ohio. Also a Colonel in the Air Force Reserves, Hurd heads up the medical staging squadron for the 445th Airlift Wing Reserve Unit based at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. Hurd has also authored and edited the first medical resource book on Aeromedical Evacuation (AE).
