Mar. 18--With precautionary smallpox vaccinations of American medical volunteers now under way, is it time to consider giving preventive shots for anthrax, as well?
A team of researchers led by a Stanford University mathematician argues that it's past time. In an article published today in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, the researchers press for more aggressive preparations for another, more serious anthrax bioterror attack.
