Mar. 19--Major League Baseball has yet to reach a licensing agreement with Rawlings Sporting Goods Co. of Fenton. That threatens K2's acquisition of the baseball-equipment maker, but the professional baseball organization hopes a deal can be struck soon.
Richard Heckmann, chairman and chief executive of K2, says the MLB licensing issue remains a key obstacle and it could derail K2's planned acquisition of Rawlings.
