THE British music industry is banking on the DVD market to help dig them out of a hole caused by dwindling sales of CD singles and albums.
With more than half of UK homes now owning a DVD player, the format has come into its own but until now the music releases have been limited.
Top stars such as Eminem and Robbie Williams have been quick to cash in on the format, on the back of album releases and tours.
