MEDINA, Ohio -- MEDINA, Ohio, March 20 /PRNewswire/ -- The Medina Community Recreation Center today announced the installation of Poseidon(TM), the benchmark for computer-aided drowning detection systems, at its recently-opened facility. Poseidon serves as a lifeguard's "third eye" to help prevent drowning tragedies in public, lifeguarded swimming pools. The Medina Community Recreation Center is the first facility in the state of Ohio and the first parks and recreation department in the U.S. to install the Poseidon system.
